What does Plant Designs do? More
Plant Designs shop is closing but we also have a commercial side to our business, where we design, install, and care for plants in workspaces across the city – you can see more about that here.

What is ‘biophilia’? More
If you’ve heard us talking about ‘biophilia’ you may be feeling a bit confused but don’t worry, we’re here to explain. ‘Biophilia’ is a term coined by American biologist Edward O. Wilson, literally meaning ‘love of life’. He used it to describe the innate connection humans feel with nature, and it’s the reason that spending time amongst plants makes us feel so good.

Where do you get your plants from? More
We have worked with ethical growers in Holland for many years now, and continue to source the majority of our plants from them. If you’re interested in reading more about this, you can take a look at our suppliers page.

Why does my plant look different from its picture? More
Plants are natural products, which means they will always have some variation in colour, texture, size, and finish. While we make every effort to depict our plants accurately, we can’t guarantee that the plant you receive will look just like the one shown online.

Can I still place an order online? More
We have stopped accepting online orders as we are closing the shop on January 10th. If you’d like to pick up a plant before we close, you will find discounts and a lovely range in-store.

Can I buy plants in-store? More
Absolutely! We have a beautiful range of plants, pots, and accessories in need of homes before we close. Our expert shop staff will be on-hand to help with any questions you have. You can see our location and opening times here.

Can you do home delivery? More
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we only offer click and collect from our shops. This vastly reduces carbon emissions and packaging waste, which are both huge problems when it comes to home delivery. What’s more, it helps minimise the time your plants spend in dark boxes and gives us a chance to care for them before you collect them, meaning your plants are greener in more ways than one!

What payment options do you have? More
For all online and in-store purchases we take secure credit or debit card payments. We do not take cash in our shop.
